Bonneville Seattle is looking for somene to serve as the first point of customer service for Bonneville's listeners, clients, vendors and guests, projecting a warm and inviting compan image in a pleasant and professional manner.  This position will provide daily administrative support to the promotions and sales fulfillment team; and occasionally to others as directed from time to time.  The position will maintain the station promotional calendars; administer contest winner paperwork and prize fulfillment; maintain records of the stations' public service activities for reporting purposes and assist the programming and news department in scheduling.


  • Promotions:
    • Provide admin support and back up assistance to Promotions and Partnerships Manager and Promotions and Event Coordinator.
    • Facilitate all prize fulfillment
    • Contesting oversight and management maintain logs/schedules, create rules, maintain forms and paperwork, coordinate with clients, solicit prizes
    • Write and post web copy for on-air promotions and contests.
    • Maintain promotional calendars and produce air checks
  • Front Desk:
    • Serve as the first point of contact for listeners, clients, and vendors via phone reception, email and greeting project pleasant, professional image and friendly, helpful demeanor
    • Daily check runs, mail distribution, supply maintenance, mail distribution
    • Gather and timely file all listener correspondence in FCC Public Files in accordance with Company procedures.
    • Conduct the scheduling of talent and studio space
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of programming schedules and formats, content
      • Outreach Coordination - Maintain all community outreach records, compile yearly Crystal report and Marconi award submissions, post info online
      • Traffic public service announcements
  • Keep documentation and company information in the strictest of confidence
  • Work in compliance with company policies, procedures and standards of performance and support company mission, purpose and core values.

  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment effectively and efficiently with multiple distractions
  • Self-starter (starts primary tasks and moves on to additional tasks without needing to be directed) with a strong work ethic. Asks for instruction/guidance/training when needed.
  • Strong writing skills
  • Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions under limited supervision.
  • Great organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • A high level of proficiency with computers, software and ability to learn and work with new technologies.
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to effectively handle stress and address concerns from customers
  • Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor


  • 1-2 years promotional and/or office admin experience
  • 2 or 4 year college degree
  • 1-2 years media industry experience


  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
  • Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
  • Lift, move, and carry up to 50-100 pounds on occasion.
